Just about any PC made in the past 5 years or so should be be able to run the software with no problem, so long as it uses one of the Windows operating systems. We recommend running CaseCAD with a true-color (24 bit) display.
Because CaseCAD has a very intuitive user interface, there's no need for you to wade through a voluminous user manual. Just read the brief user guide, which you can access using the software's Help menu or a by downloading a PDF copy by clicking on the link for it below).
Unlike most other CAD packages, the CaseCAD software is quick to learn and easy to use. If you can answer simple questions presented by wizards, point and click, cut and paste, you're ready to start designing the interior for your case. Once you're done, you can order a custom-made insert from us for a very reasonable price. CaseCAD’s software tells you how much your foam insert will cost and provides a mechanism for ordering its fabrication online.
This software works on virtually any PC running a Windows operating system.
Place the downloaded file (CaseCAD3.1.9_Setup.exe) in any convenient folder and double click on it to begin the installation, which will allow you to save the program in the directory of your choosing. The CaseCAD software can be easily removed from your system using the Add/Remove Programs option found on your computer's control panel.
Although the intuitive user interface makes this software easy to master, please do read the brief user guide (available through the software's Help menu or by downloading a PDF copy to familiarize yourself with the features available and our general design guidelines. Available also is a summary of our manufacturing specifications.

Once you’ve designed your insert with our software, you can order fabrication easily. Just use the software’s Order menu to upload your design to our servers. Once the upload is complete, the software will launch your browser and navigate to CaseCAD’s online store, where you’ll be able to purchase one or more copies of your insert.
Should you have trouble uploading your design because of restrictive firewall policies at your institution, send your CaseCAD (.ccd) design file to us as an ordinary email attachment, and we will add it to our online store for you to purchase.
