Foams: Frequently Asked Questions
How does the foam you use differ from "foam rubber"?
The "foam rubber" you might buy at an upholstery shop is more than likely an open-cell polyurethane. The foam we use is quite different, being considerably more resilient and having cells that are closed and so small as to be nearly invisible. Rather than being soft like a pillow, our foam is flexible but tough, like the material used in protective athletic gear.
The foam we provide comes only in charcoal gray.
Can I send you my foam to cut?
Sorry, but we do not work with anything other than our own materials.
